Early 20th c. Burmese (Chin People, Falam, Burma, today Myanmar) striped cotton man’s mantle with a wide indigo stripe, a wide dark red violet stripe, and a narrow green stripe with a very narrow highlight stripe of yellow. A mantle such as this would indicate the wearer’s social status within their clan. Today there is limited tourist access to Falam, Myanmar.
