Ear­ly 20^th c. Burmese (Chin Peo­ple, Falam, Bur­ma, today Myan­mar) striped cot­ton man’s man­tle with a wide indi­go stripe, a wide dark red vio­let stripe, and a nar­row green stripe with a very nar­row high­light stripe of yel­low. A man­tle such as this would indi­cate the wear­er’s social sta­tus with­in their clan. Today there is lim­it­ed tourist access to Falam, Myanmar.
