c.1920 – 25 Eng­lish print­ed cot­ton with par­rots on flow­er­ing branch­es in brown, ter­ra­cot­ta and blue tones by Min­nie McLeish (1876−1957), a free­lance tex­tile design­er for a num­ber of firms, but par­tic­u­lar­ly for W. Fox­ton Ltd. McLeish was known for her bold, bright col­ored pat­terns print­ed for fur­nish­ing fabrics.
