Ear­ly 20th C. Jam­bi batik/​cotton skirt (kain pan­jang) made prob­a­bly at Cire­bon, North Java. This style of batik is known as Jam­bi, after the south Suma­tran provence to which they were export­ed. The red flo­ral design shows the influ­ence of India.
