Late 19th or ear­ly 20th cen­tu­ry from West Pun­jab , silk floss embroi­dery on cot­ton shawl (phulka­ri) called a Panchran­ga (five col­ors) Phulka­ri Bagh (gar­den), embroi­dered in a Lahriya (waves) design. This was worn as a part of a bride’s wed­ding, white, pink, pur­ple & green thread in a geo­met­ric pat­tern of diamonds.
