Late 19th or early 20th century from West Punjab silk floss embroidery on red cotton called a Phulkari Bagh (garden), embroidered in white, gold & green colored thread in a geometric pattern of triangles, with a border down one side. This was worn as a part of a bride’s wedding regalia.
